Step 1 - Attachment variants (part 1)
Who am I?
Learned patterns and attachment during childhood and adolescence are partly determining your choice of partner and how you feel in life. It is important that you recognize yourself in one of the four attachment variants, whereby it is possible that several variants apply to you.
Action:
- Step 1 and 1a you go through individually. It is important that you do not consult with your partner.
- In Step 1a, we will go into more detail about the attachment variants. Try to determine for yourself what applies to you and your partner. We are going to need these insights regularly during online couples therapy.
- Write down the variants that apply to you and also those of your partner.
- Lead time: minimum 1 week (including step 1a).
